​Global Peace Index: Start with the "COUNTRIES" tab at the top/middle of the home page. Click on "OTHER COUNTRIES" tab, then find your country. They have a lot about conflict, murder rates and other stats. Option 2: Open the 2018 report’s PDF. It’s searchable and there is a lot of useful information about conflicts, crime and other relevant issues.

Sub-Saharan Africa Security Tracker: This is good place to start if you are researching conflict in a particular country.
